Matte photo paper allows you to print photographs that look like the traditional photographs but they are without any shine. The colors do not smudge and you cannot find any finger print marks on matte photo paper. There is lesser glare on matte photo paper. Soft glossy photo paper can be used if you want the prints that have little levels of gloss. The colors produced by soft glossy photo paper are of high quality. Standard photo paper must be preferred if you want high-quality images. It offers enough gloss to your picture and will make it stand out from the rest of all. You can also use high gloss photo paper if you want top grade images.

As there are various photo paper brands available in the market, you must know which one to use. You must opt to choose for photo paper brand that does not have acid composition. This allows you to preserve pictures for a long time as they prevent pictures from fading or turning yellow. You must use photo paper that is not too thick as it would not jam the printer. Make use of photo paper that is compatible with your photo paper.
